Our Farm Clinic

Reigning Hope is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established to provide therapy programs for special need families.
Federal ID# 26-1409706.

Reigning Hope Therapy Services offers a wide selection of therapeutic programs to fit your needs. We offer Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Mental Health Services.

-OT, PT, and Speech Therapy at Reigning Hope are all medical model therapies and your primary care physician must send us a referral to evaluate and treat you. These services are typically covered by insurance, but Reigning Hope does offer out-of-pocket payment as well. OT and PT sessions are an hour-long, and if your therapist deems it necessary and appropriate, they will use skilled equine movement as a treatment tool in your session. The maximum amount of time that a client will spend on a horse during OT or PT is 20 minutes, compared to an Adaptive Riding session where the client is with the horse for 45 minutes. No skilled equine movement will be used in Speech Therapy sessions; they are 30-minute sessions. Occupational Therapy is a medical model therapy that must be completed by an Occupational Therapist or a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant; Reigning Hope has both! Occupational Therapy focuses on things like fine motor skills, social skills, feeding, dressing, and self-care.

-Physical Therapy is also a medical model therapy that must be completed by a Physical Therapist or a Physical Therapist Assistant. Physical Therapy aids clients in reaching their highest level of physical function, as it interferes with day-to-day life.

-Our Speech Therapist completes Speech Therapy Sessions at Reigning Hope. Sessions are 30 minutes long and will not be using skilled equine movement at this time.

A Registered Psychotherapist provides our Mental Health services, and this service is cash pay only at this time. There will be no riding during a mental health session, but depending on the goals, the client may interact with the horse or our other farm animals.

If you are interested in any of these therapies, contact Kesti at 719-209-3365 and then get started on the paperwork
