Adaptive Riding and Horsemanship
Horsemanship
These classes are set up on an hour basis and paid per hour. Each student will learn about horsemanship, including grooming, care, walking a horse and riding. Our approach for each session is safety, communication with the horse, relationship and connection and then riding. We believe this foundation helps students to become better with their horsemanship skills and skills for outside the barn.
Adaptive Riding Sessions
Adaptive Riding Sessions give riders an opportunity to experience empowering freedom of movement, while learning to ride a horse at the best of their ability. Requirements for Adaptive riding is that there be a special need diagnosis and that they have been cleared to ride by their physician. These sessions are cash pay only and we do not bill insurance for this program. This is not OT or PT. These sessions are booked privately or in a group session and paid for in 8 week sessions.

8 Week Horsemanship - Private Session: $440
8 Week Horsemanship - Group (2) Session: $720
8 Week Adaptive Riding (Includes one 45-minute ride/week) - Private Session: $440

Adaptive Riding Scholarship
Reigning Hope will be awarding one adaptive riding scholarship a month from March-November 2024. You do not need to be a current client of Reigning Hope to apply for a scholarship, and if you are not chosen for any scholarships, you can re-apply for the next month. We have a weight limit of 180lbs; if you have any questions, please send us an email or call.
